Who we are

Sheffield New Muslims is a small group, run by new Muslims and those with links to the convert community in Sheffield and its surrounding areas.

The focus of our services is on new Muslims but we welcome everyone. People who attend our activities also include a wide range of both local and international backgrounds and all ages.

What we do

We do not have ‘members’ as such, but we do offer workshops, activities, and events (as well as links to local communities) for new Muslims and their families and those interested in Islam.

We offer a range of services to new Muslims in Sheffield, as we understand what it is like to convert to Islam. The aim of the group is to offer support to others new to Islam through this exciting, yet sometimes challenging, time.

Our activities are held in a non-judgemental environment in which people can explore new ideas, learn to enjoy their own unique journeys and respect the diversity of the wider Muslim community.
